Komerční banka, in co-operation with Komerční pojišťovna, will offer new secured funds, Certus and Certus 2, as part of Vital Invest insurance. The two funds offer an attractive growth and guarantee return of the investment on the maturity date. The offer to invest in the funds is limited in time; clients can invest in them from 11 February to 7 May 2013.

Komerční banka, in co-operation with Komerční pojišťovna, brings an attractive offer of secured investments on the Czech market. The Certus and Certus 2 secured funds are  the  thirteenth tranche and the fourteenth tranche, respectively, of secured funds  as part of Vital Invest insurance. In the preceding 12 tranches, Komerční pojišťovna’s clients invested  CZK  5.6 billion  in secured funds.

The Certus secured fund guarantees a 100% return of the invested money on the day of the fund’s maturity in 6 years, and offers a potential growth of up to 5% p.a. The Certus 2 secured fund can yield a higher growth of up to 9.3% p.a. Despite the higher risk inherent in the opportunity to receive a higher growth, Certus 2 effectively limits the risk of loss: as at the day of the fund’s maturity in 6 years, it guarantees return of 90% of the invested money.

In addition, clients investing in Certus secured funds can take advantage of the currently running campaign for discounts on administrative fees. For each current, one-off, or extraordinary premium paid between  1 February 2013 and 31 December 2013, a discount on administrative fees is applicable,  depending on the amount of the premium.

“Thanks to their investment strategy and the structure of the basket of equities from the food and pharmaceutical industries, which are some of the non-cyclic sectors of the economy, these are very attractive funds offering a considerable potential of growth in value. Combined with the guaranteed return of the investment, this makes it a highly attractive method for growing your savings given the current situation on markets,” said Lukáš Fridrich, Head of Marketing at Komerční pojišťovna.

In addition to the guaranteed return of investment, investments through Vital Invest also offer a number of other benefits. Clients can adjust the parameters of their insurance cover, determine the beneficiary who will receive compensation in the case of the client’s death without probate proceedings and the need to pay the inheritance tax, and can also take advantage of the opportunity to reduce their tax base by up to CZK 12,000 per year.

Société Générale is the manager of the underlying assets of both funds.
