Who we are looking for?

We are currently looking for the new Head of KP Risk management department. We need the manager with proven track record in Risk management area.

Your essential aim would be:

         ·            to coordinate, monitor and verify execution of activities of the Risk Management Department.

         ·            to contribute to ensuring of efficient risk management system.

         ·            to represent the risk management function both inside and outside the company and the SG group.

Your role will be furthermore ambassador of risk awareness and risk culture across the company.

What we do?

Our Risk Management team in KP is small, but efficient.The department is responsible for management of Pillar I and Non-Pillar I risks of the whole company. The team is concerned with setting up the overall risk management governance and management of risk identification, assessment, management and reporting of risks. Risk management closely cooperates with other key functions and mainly with the actuarial function, compliance function and internal audit function both on the company level and the group level. Also closely cooperates with the Group Risk Management function.

The role of Head of Risk management is reporting directly to CEO of the company.

Your main tasks:

  • to ensure set-up of risk map of the company, which is the basis for preparation of the company’s risk profile.
  • to prepare regularly (at least once a year) risk profile of the company.
  • to manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and steers their definitions, set-up and amendments.
  • to propose stress tests and scenarios.
  • to coordinates ORSA related processes and is responsible for ORSA Report.
  • in frame of the ORSA report preparation to carry out gap analysis of the company’s risk profile and assumptions used for calculation of Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR).
  • to submit the ORSA report including possible comments and notes from the Group Risk Management Function to the management of the company and to the supervisory authority.
  • to ensure analysis and proposals for the system of information, organization and facilities security.
  • to manage team insisting of Fraud, IT Security and Risk manager
Požadavky

Experience & Knowledge:

  • University degree, preferably in economy or actuarial studies
  • At least 5 years experience in risk management, internal audit or related areas, preferably in insurance, banking or consulting sector
  • Spoken and written English is must
  • Managerial experience is a big plus
  • Advanced user of MS Office skills
  • Solvency II regulation knowledge at least basic level
  • Ability to propose good compromises between risk and business efficiency  
  • Selfdriven and autonomous personality
  • Negoating and infuencing skills on professional level
  • Stress resistence, high level of mature judgement
  • Ability to solve issues independently nevertheless be able act as team player when required
